Niagara Falls the most beautiful destination: 

Niagara Falls is one of the most beautiful and famous destination in the world.it is a group three waterfalls spanning at the border between the province of Ontario city in Canada and the state of New York in the United States by the rainbow bridge. The largest bridge is Horseshoe falls which divides the international border of the two countries. It's another name is Canadian falls. The smaller bridges are American falls and bridal veil falls lie within the United States. Bridal veil falls is divided from horseshoe falls by goat island and from American falls by Luna Island with both islands located in New York. Niagara Falls can be seen from the Canadian side of the river. The coordinate of Niagara Falls is 43.0799-degree newton 79.0747-degree W, and its type is cataract. The total height of Niagara Falls is 167ft(51m). The average flow rate of it is 85,000 cubic ft (about the volume of an Olympic-size swimming pool)/s or 2400 m^3/s. Several personalities visited this place, explored the area and credited it with the first scientific description of the falls in the early 18th century. Later on, in the 19th century, tourism became popular and by mid-century, it becomes the area’s main industry. Firstly, it becomes a focus of pleasure and honeymoon visits.                                                                                                                                     Again, bridges are also the main attraction of Niagara Falls. Several bridges have spanned the Niagara River in the general vicinity of the falls. The first bridge was a two-level suspension structure that opened in January 1869.but later it was destroyed completely by a strong storm in January 1889. Afterwards, a new bridge was created as it’s replacement and it was opened in May 1889.another bridge was also created closer to American falls to avoid heavy traffic. It was a bridge made of steel and opened in June 1897. It was called the upper steel arch bridge but often it was called honeymoon bridge. Besides the Niagara Falls has been recognized as a potential source of power because of its huge energy.in 1853, hydraulic power and mining company has been used to generate electricity.  

Different hydropower plants have been built along the Niagara riverside. It is very significant to conserve this natural beauty. For this, in 1959 a treaty was signed by us and Canada. This treaty was signed mainly to ensure unbroken water flowing over the falls. This treaty is controlled by the international board of control using a NOAA gauging station. Most importantly it is one of the best tourist spots. Many people from different countries visit this place with utmost pleasure, excitement, enthusiasm and love. The panoramic views touch the minds of young generations. The main economy of Niagara Falls is mainly dependent on tourism. Peak visitor traffic occurs in the summertime, when Niagara Falls is both a daytime and evening attraction. From the Canadian side, floodlights illuminate both sides of the falls for several hours after dark (until midnight). The number of visitors in 2007 was expected to total 20 million, and by 2009 the annual rate was expected to top 28 million tourists. A movie was also made named Niagara starring Marilyn Monroe and Joseph Cotten. This movie earned much popularity in the television industry. Besides, different fictions and books are written based on the wonderful beauty of Niagara. Niagara Falls was such an attraction to landscape artists that, writes John Howat, they were "the most popular, the most often treated, and the tritest single item of subject matter to appear in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century European and American landscape painting. Apart from the natural beauty, it has some horrible facts According to the report from the office of New York state controller in 2012, Niagara Falls has struggled through decades of population losses, rising crime and repeated attempts to reinvent itself from a manufacturing town with some tourism to a major tourist destination. This place has struggled with high rates of violent and property crime.to decrease this violence, operation SNUG mobilized to promote positive community involvement in the troubled areas of the city. Sometimes accidents also happen on Niagara Falls like falling from the Niagara. During storms or any heavy rain, the water of the fall began to flow so fast that it is hard to escape from there suddenly. Last but not least, everyone's dream destination is the place where Niagara is located. Everyone dreams of visiting this place once in a lifetime. It is a truly significant place which distracts the young’s mind. It has even aesthetic, economical, historical and a strategic reason for significance.
